Chris Markham specialises in internal and external communications; stakeholder strategy; performance management; large-scale event management and evaluation.

He read Russian and Law at Surrey University. After gaining his MBA, Chris has led communications and stakeholder functions for clients including: British Airways, British Telecom, the European Space Programme, Transport for London and Vodafone.

He has extensive multi-lingual, multi-cultural experience and uses evidence-based communications particularly suitable for change and transformation scenarios. He is a qualified AIM programme manager with experience in PRINCE2 and bespoke project management techniques.

Mark Rapley read psychology at City and Surrey Universities and is a qualified organisational psychologist, forensic psychologist and social worker. He is a Registered Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society and a member of the British Association of Social Workers

Mark has over 20 years experience as a practitioner, manager and senior manager in statutory social services delivering child-in-need services to children and families. In this arena he has led service reconfiguration initiatives in preparation for CSCI, Joint Review /Audit Commission/SSI inspections and developed and managed "Quality Protects" and "Best Value" Initiatives.

He has also worked extensively as a practitioner in multi-disciplinary teams involved with the assessment and treatment of patients subject to the Mental Health Act 1983 at Broadmoor, Rampton and Shaftsbury Hospitals, particularly in order to evaluate 'dangerousness' and has submitted his reports to Mental Health Tribunals and the Home Office.

Mark specialises in change management, organisational performance and conflict resolution. He has significant experience in motivation and leadership coaching and has delivered a range of management training to enhance personal and organisational effectiveness in private and public sector organisations. He has significant experience of assessment centre design, competency testing, recruitment and selection, staff training and performance management.

He is ratified by the British Psychological Society with Class A & B Certificates of Competence in Psychometric Testing.

Mark leads Ergo's organisational and personal stress management team.

Dr Simon Sandberg focuses on strategic development; system dynamics; multi-agency and inter-agency partnership work. Simon read economics at Cambridge before completing a PhD in the sociology of education. He is also a qualified teacher, and has lectured at Brunel and the Open Universities (in research methodologies and 'race relations' respectively).

Prior to becoming a consultant in 1993 Simon also worked for the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations and the Health Education Authority. He has undertaken a great deal of work recently within the drugs and alcohol, sexual health, children's services, adult and children's mental health, domestic violence, and neighbourhood renewal fields. He has extensive experience of strategic and interim management, and working in multi-ethnic inner city settings.

Peter Scott leads Ergo's data systems function, and specialises in strategic direction setting, performance monitoring and management, and evaluation systems.

Born in Hungary, Peter read History and English at Cambridge. He founded Europe's first major community-based medical information resource of its kind before helping countless start-up organisations. As a result he has extensive expertise in developing service specifications for innovative services.

Peter specialises in statistical, evidence-based analysis, action research and continuous performance improvement. He is expert at setting up path-finding programmes for sustainable development; the design and management of rapid situation assessment and research; policy and literature review; evaluation, and performance monitoring.
